When Amendment 2 passes in November, the Florida Department of Health will have six months to promulgate regulations for marijuana patients and providers. These regulations will include guidelines on who can become a medical marijuana patient as well as how “Medical Treatment Centers” or dispensaries will be licensed and monitored.
